Mini Dachshunds
How could you not fall in love with the most lovable dogs on the planet - the dachshund. I grew up with only dachshunds so I am most predjudiced. You will have years of loves and kisses from your new pet. Good Luck! Pain & Exercising Sunday, March 08, 2009 | By freya1970 For pain relief try taking a bath with epsom salts and some lavender essential oil. I think when most of us start exercising we overdo it. Try doing simple things like walking, going up and down stairs and bicycling (if you live where you don't have snow right now). Simple exercises are ones we tend to keep doing. :) Good luck! what did you get him? Saturday, March 07, 2009 | By theway So what did you get him? I would love to know hope this helps Friday, March 06, 2009 | By snowbird49908
Im a stay at home mom of 3 and I know what you mean about them not wanting to stay with any project for long. To keep mine entertained I have a big bin full of this and that for them to just get creative with without any specific project in mind. Just let them go with it on the kitchen table covered in news paper. good luck Friday, March 06, 2009 | By snowbird49908 good luck on making sales. When I was pregnant a friend gave me a rice bag that had essential oil of lavender in it and it was ment to be heated and layed over the eyes to relaxe you and it was very lovley and the added smell was great. Green Ideas Friday, March 06, 2009 | By freya1970 Since you are running a coffee shop, if people often take coffee to go you can encourage patrons to bring in their own reusable mug? The grinds can be used for gardening in the spring too. This is a neat site with ideas too: http://www.awarenessideas.com/ don't forget food pantries Friday, March 06, 2009 | By Barbaral In my neighborhood the coffee houses have bagels, cakes, and cookies to go with the coffee. As the baked goods get old, they are donated to food pantries where they are appreciated. ridding of fleas with eucalyptus oil Thursday, March 05, 2009 | By racers7 Sorry, I should have mentioned above when using the eucalyptus oil mix, applying just once on pets is enough. They won't like the smell (Vicks vaporub aroma) but it is effective. In a 1 gallon container filled with water, put 2 capfuls and shake thoroughly. The water makes it easier to apply to the fur (pour in your palms and dampen fur, don't soak) and it dissapates fast. The smell wears off within 15 minutes. If you are skeptical then just use as a spray on your furniture, it didn't ruin my fabric but test a spot to be sure. ridding of fleas with eucalyptus oil Thursday, March 05, 2009 | By racers7
Fighting fleas is very hard if they are already at an unmanageable level in the house with pets but it can be done. I had three infested cats before flea meds were marketed. But this is what I did back then (9 yrs ago), I fumigated even after all these steps were done just as a precaution. But man, I had to clean all counters and surfaces afterward. Paying off Debt Wednesday, March 04, 2009 | By leftthesanebehind We are on a plan that allows us to have spending money weekly and still have money to save for a house. I have started my frugal crusade, for one purpose, to allow us to be in house before my husband turns 37, we are not there yet, but he is not 37 yet, (next year, so we have some time. Anyways thanks for the replies, keep posting, love to share secrets. Have to Go, am making the Laundry soap, can't let the water boil or it will boil over....God bless
