Confessions of a stay at home mom

Monday, October 27, 2008

With winter coming, cabin fever has allready set in here at this end. How so you handle a bored 4 year old? Tried the all tried and true crafts but find myself with a 4 year old that gets bored 2 mins after starting something and it just leaves a mess for me to clean up. I really am dreading the holidays to where he will be out of school for weeks at a time. I really am blessed to have an active little boy, who brings laughter and tears at times. So this is my confession of a stay at home mom.

Im a stay at home mom of 3 and I know what you mean about them not wanting to stay with any project for long. To keep mine entertained I have a big bin full of this and that for them to just get creative with without any specific project in mind. Just let them go with it on the kitchen table covered in news paper.
Our bin has things like construction paper, paint, crayons, makers, colored pencils, glue, string, buttons and just about anything.
