boxer shorts pattern

While they won't be free, try a thrift shop--puchase a pair in the size you want, (probably cost 25 or 50 cents), tear out the seams, etc, might have to iron them, but then lay on cardboard, or "fused" plastic, and cut out your own pattern....will be reusable for much longer than paper patterns, you're recycling, and it's CHEAPER!!!!!

Thank you for your comments. We had to renovate the house where we live now. I hope you have a good work crew to refurnish your kitchen. We did; they were a whole band of friends. Some of them even took time off from work to do the job that they started.

Glut of tech

Yup - it annoys me, too - as it crowds out the real blogs - like yours!

So true!

I really agree with this. Sadly I am the furthest thing from a neat freak. Lately I realized that my kitchen needs a serious spring cleaning and because it's going to be so much work I wanted to hire someone since I know I am not good at the deep kind of cleaning. However, my hubby said he'd do it himself because he felt like he could tackle it (I know he can, he's really good at cleaning and organizing if he has time time) !! YAY! I have about 100 spices (and i am not even exaggerating!), some need to be thrown out and others need to be organized (most of my spices are in open bags). We're renovating the kitchen sometime this summer and I'd like it to be clean. And yes, it's so difficult to want to cook in a dirty unorganized kitchen. I still do it but can't wait to have an emaculate one. Thanks for sharing!

It is really annoying. We delete them when we see them but they are now posting so many under so many different logins, it's getting really time consuming. We hope to have something in place to solve the problem soon. Thanks for your patience!

Watching the nuns shop
Monday, March 09, 2009 | By leftthesanebehind

We have a catholic church in our town. Sometimes i see a gray nun shopping for the kitchen. They are the frugal ones i look to for insipration. She chooses her fruit with care, only buying as many as they need at one time. I have seen her again at another discount store in town, bying up candy canes really cheap for next year, she carries a little gray wallet, probably dated back to the early 70's. She is so careful and i watch her, and every now and then she catches me and gives me a smile! Next time i see her, i will be sure to say hello, and give her a hug and say thank-you. She is so graceful and cautious, not to bruise bump or ruin anything she has no intent to buy! Take note of the nuns in your town and watch them, you will be surprised and what you will learn. God bless

The jean skirt
Monday, March 09, 2009 | By leftthesanebehind

We have a used clothing store in the town i live in, and on the first month, of our frugal challenge, i stopped by the Store. Was i ever surprised, i got 6 items for $2.00 one of the items was a brand name, (GAP) jean skirt with the tag still on it, perfect fit, for me and my budget, nothing like a good buy!
