Wow, I know how you feel. I am doing the same thing. Thanks for the tip of taking before and after pictures. I didn't think of that. It will remind us to "keep" it clean once our goal is reached.

I am happy for you. I think its neat that your furnishings are retro, but get them checked for damages and working parts before using them ok. I would hate for anything to happen so soon after it is finally yours. I hope you have fun making the house your own. Congrats again. I wish you happiness in your new home. :))

I'm over here in Moses Lake.
Was the plum a little yellow fruit, a sugar plum? I tasted one at a friend's house and never forgot it.
I moved here a year-plus ago, and I'm still doing stonework, using the natural roundish basalt boulders that are thick all through here. So far I'm nearly done putting a double layer on a slope to backfill against to create a more level spot.
Not having a lot of money, I'll be looking for thrifty garden ways. I bought a book on Budget Gardener and it cheerfully advocates use of volunteers.

WAY to GO!!! Have fun painting! We just moved into our house, now I'm rummaging my way through unpacked boxes!!! I'm still glad we did it and I'm so excited that we have a place that is OURS!!! I'm super excited for you chrispy!! You should be proud of yourself! Buying a house can be tough, but it's SO rewarding!! Good job!!!

Anyway sweetheart don't you even worry about Mama's meanness. I'm sure she as a woman has her own issues... Which cause her to lash out at you with words surrounded by love and good intentions but hide a core of ugliness- That is her problem, not yours.
I'm thin and have 8 brothers and sisters- You should only know what my parents and siblings have "lovingly" said or done to me all my life and I'll be 50 next month... and the beat goes on.
Just smile and thank her, let her send whatever she wants and donate the rest to Good will or Salvation Army thrift stores. My motto is always TRY to take the high road! All we really can control is our own selves, no one else. If you are chubby- it's what you are now, no big deal. Being thin is not much easier, still got the old issues, same heart and soul. My stepson just fewll in love with a big girl, she must weigh at least 260, and she squeeezes into the tightest pants and tops you've ever seen. He absolutely adores her and I think she'll be his wife soon.

For those that hurt us with their big mouths, whether intentional or not just tell them you are sorry they feel that way and you will pray for them..... It shuts them right down and makes them think before they speak of you again. I just went through a similar experience and came out feeling clean - It wasn't revenge just made me feel better about my self.

I never knew you could rent a laptop. That is very, very cool.

Meantime, take care and totally enjoy yourself. Put your burdens in a paper bag write them on little scraps of paper, go to wherever you can and set them on fire, trust me, it's B.S. but it's a start.

Sorry about your terrible miscarriage, I've been there too! Not nice at all. Sorry.

Hey my lab has the same problem and it just doesnt want to go away i dont know what to do either. i need to try to find some homemade remedy that will take it away. any help

Thank you so much for this great advice! Vinegar and baking soda are about the only cleaners I use too!! I'll have to try the grated ivory soap bar though! That's a good idea! I'll also have to make the swags as you suggested with the flat sheets! That's a great idea!! I can't wait to try that one!! Max is one cute kittie!!! I can't wait to actually get everything moved this weekend and be in our new house!! Thanks for all the great advice!!
