plastic bag holder
Get an older bath towel without holes and fold it in half long end to long end. Run a rope tie through hems at both ends & add a hanging rope to one end. Voila - plastic bag holder & dispenser. Fill it at the top, pull what you need from the bottom. Long & skinny - won't take up much room in a hanging place. :-) re Bacon Bits Saturday, September 27, 2008 | By pamphyila Thanks. Absolutely! Actually soy bacon bits are ALSO a great budget ingredient in real time - I love them with toasted cheese sandwiches and in backed potatoes with an egg (which heats to set) in it sprinkled with bacon bits & some grated cheese - yum. Don't you know how much better bacon bits make a salad taste? The money you bring in probably allows you to add a little "flavor" to the everyday! try Flylady Friday, September 26, 2008 | By kladybug Her rules for living helped me! www.flylady.net Sharpie to the rescue Friday, September 26, 2008 | By kladybug I often use Sharpie markers to repair and recolor things like my leather purse. I tried to write a book before in the 80's - talk about wrong timing! But now we are relatively OK - I still scrounge a bit, tho! We Are the New Cool Friday, September 26, 2008 | By Savings Assistant
I have been frugal for a lot of years too. Before people just probably thought I was cheap. (Yes, there is a difference.) Now people are actually digging the fact I know where to find the bargains. I started a blog and people have been receptive to it. useful scrub buddy Wednesday, September 24, 2008 | By seisei yah... this is useful tips for those who are on cost cutting Pennies - Wednesday, September 24, 2008 | By pamphyila Ha! I am paying for adsense in another venture! Not much, tho - My husband scoffs at change being money, so I save it myself & then can save the day when things get unexpectedly tight! I wish I knew how you do all that with your blog - I love it here, but... spotted leather furniture Wednesday, September 24, 2008 | By Glenn'sMom I used regular past shoe polish on mine (underneath first) and it worked really well. I understand there is a leather dye to use for stuff like that. Maybe a good leather furniture store can direct you to the product or maybe you can google leather dye and find it. Shoe polish worked good for me. Just be sure to buff well so you don't stain clothes.
