In my walk in closet, Its a mess!  I have tried to organized it and its stacked everywhere. I have 4 shelves which 1 is for my winter clothes and its packed on that shelve, 2nd shelve has 3 box cubes filled with fabric pieces, and some books(not crafts), my drawing items, drawing paper and colored pencils and drawing pencils, than the other a family member who is no longer living with me put 3 boxes up high which I can't reach and the other shelve has all my craft books and on the floor is 7 rubbermaid containers full of yarn, not to mention what I have in the other room and coat closet which I took off the door. Stuff on my kitchen table high up and else where. I don't know what to do with all this stuff. I threw out 65 trash bags and did alot of freecycling. I'm just overwelmed on the stuff I have. HELP SOMEONE?

You have many, many hobbies. I would seriously consider (at least temporarily 'til you get a bigger place) scaling down to no more than 2-3 hobbies and throw out or give away all of the other materials/supplies for those other hobbies. Not only will this free up space, but it will free up money because you won't be buying for so many different projects. Plus, you can really concentrate on those few hobbies you really love. I know it's hard to part with the stuff, but it's still just stuff. Possessions come and go. Good luck.

My sister has so much stuff she doesn't know what she has. Stuff is just stuff like greenvase said. When it starts getting in your way and affecting your life it is just not worth it! Sell, it donate it, free yourself!

Sorry it took me so long to write anyone back, I had no internet for a while nor a phone and I'm just getting back to people. I have 2 hobbies one is Crafts and Drawing. I have no other hobbies like you say I do. My problem is I sit on the computer more than hours anyone would sit on the computer and doing my mulitasking things I need done for the day and I manage 22 webpages, 4 of which are stars & singers, plus I work on the computer which takes much of my time, plus I sing and write songs on the computer. I have 50 email addresses that I use for work, manage my online store and other things plus I fish, bowl, camp, swim, take care of my nephews and most of all take care of myself. I am still doing the crafts mostly knifty knitting and hand knitting and I brought all these yarns I am not just going throw them away or give them away. I want to make things with what I have, I threw away 215 tall trash bags full of things already in the trash dumpster. And I have sold alot of my fabric, plastic canvas things. However yarn is so expesive and I just can't throw away that, so what I've been doing is making afghans to send to the local hospitals in my state and teddy bears and got in a group called Angel for hope. Still have alot but is slowly wrinding down my stash. Thanks all for listening

knifty knitting

I have some of those knifty Knitter looms, and I have managed to do a few items on them, but what gets me is that sometimes after I take pieces off the loom, they are smaller than when I made them. Then its hard to sew things together. If you have any tips for me for the knitting looms, email me?

You are indeed a busy person. I wish I had your energy :)

About Me:

I'm a mommy to a 6 year old cat named Oreo, he is declawed and fixed as apartment rules here. And I have my mom moving in because she was kicked out of her rental house because of what my dad did who is in prison and I hope for life. And like I said above I need help organizing this place. I made room for my mom's things and her chair and oxygen tank and everything that goes with her is coming here. I have a 1 bedroom apartment until we can find a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment or house and there is none in my area that will take with my limited income and her SS. In my pasttime I craft, crochet, hand knitting, knifty knitting, cross stitch, crewel, machine knitting, needlepoint, plastic canvasing, paint, draw, fishing, camping. I'm also a songwriter, I play electric guitar, karaoke, playing the keyboard. I also have 20+ yrs experience in computers, IT tech, Hardware, software the whole bit I have experience in. I love pogo and playing video games, and games offline. Well that's about it for now.
