Oh I must be too American, that sounds gross to me, especially eaten on toast!

Love it!

I love the fan! It looks like it's fairly heavy which would be good. It looks wonderful where you have it, too. Now...about that man, I have one I was going to ship to you, till you changed it to FAN! (Just kidding!) I've been married to Manly-Man for 41 years, he tolerates my five cats and my many moods, so I guess he's a 'keeper'. I'm enjoying your blog and look forward to reading more later!

I agree with Rockcandy248, you definately do have one of the finest blogs on here. I'm a daily reader, always anxious to see what bargains you've found, as I'm also a bargain hunter, and the thrill is definately in the 'hunt and capture' of a great deal or freebie. I love hearing about your boat and where you go and what you do when you and hubby are on it. It sounds so relaxing to be out on the boat. I'm in Louisiana, so hearing about your area is always interesting to me. Never fear, I'm always here. I'm just quiet, not much of a 'commenter'. Keep your posts coming!

Fast Food

I always order the kid sized meal. I explain to the waiter/ess that I'm on a strict diet. They don't usually care if I'm not a kid under 12.

saving money

So many people don't seem capable of thinking much past the end of their noses! My late ex-husband would spend as long as there was money in his pocket and then worry that bills (electricity and rent) weren't going to be paid because he was broke. This is one reason he became an EX!!

I, too, would like to move to the country. My fondest memories as a child are napping on Grandma's porch swing, listening to the birds chirping. I would pick strawberries, gather the eggs, and chase butterfilies all over the flower gardens. Take a walk behind the barn, look at the cows, ducks, and pigs, and go fishing in the pond.
