dealing with the surviving pet
Monday, December 15, 2008 | By tigra

Your dog is grieving the loss of his companion. Just like you probably wouldn't appreciate it if someone said hi this is susy she is your new best friend now since your old best friend Tammy died, he most likely won't either. If he keeps this up you need to take him to the vet as he is likely suffering from depression which your vet can suggest remedies for. You can help him by dragging him out of his sleep and taking him for walks everyday and keep encouraging him to play and eat, and lavishing him with love. Animals grieve just like people, and just like people eventually his grief will lessen. Make sure that he gets plenty of vitamins and attention hope this helps. I would think about a older (close to his age) companion animal in about 8 months.

Thankyou!

What a lovely welcome! thankyou for introducing yourselves! I live in Cornwall, in the UK, right at the end of the country. Its quite mild here, no snow :-( but a beautiful part of the world, been here all my life and will never move.
Thankyou again for all your introductions! x

It will be nice to get a UK slant on things - I remember people making wine out of tea leaves + sugar when I was a student there!

Welcome aboard!

Make sure you have a list
Friday, December 05, 2008 | By Birthday party ideas

You should make an online wish list, and send it out to your friends. This way, you can ensure that you get some things that you actually want, and it will help your friends to decide what to get for you,
