Old Ways to Creativity
Thursday, August 28, 2008 | By pamphyila

Now people invent elaborate leaderhsip exercise to do things like communally making an igloo! Whereas we build snow forts. And people read about creativity! We don't have to re-invent the wheel - just not lose touch with what has already been worked on and take it from there. I hate the idea of re-inventing the wheel! But somehow it's become declasse - but now with the real green emphasis a whole new generation is coming around!

I too have just checked my credit status online and finally I can understand where my mistakes are made with my spending. I have given myself a three year plan to improve my status which will be feasable. Just by doing this 10 minute online check has given me much more understanding of my finances without bungling my way through the bills each month. I am no way out of the woods yet but lets just say the thicket is clearing.

Old ways, etc.

Your post reminds me of being a child and playing with old spoons that my grandmother didn't want in the house anymore because the "stuff" was wearing off and they made your tounge tingle when you licked them. We could dig with them or wrap scraps of fabric around them and turn them into people. We played with paper dolls. My brothers had little cars that they played with and THEY had to power them! Kids now have to have batteries, video games that will play with you, and constant movement.
They don't have too much imagination becasuse everything is already done with their toys. Dolls have 35 outfits you can buy and you don't have to sew a single thing. Not really sure why your post made me think of all that but I guess my imagination runs away with me sometimes. Probably comes from having it so well toned all those years ago!

Love yourself!

My gosh! You have black hair and you want to change it?!? Do you know how many woman color their hair black to get a color that looks like yours? The problem is, that they buy hair dye, color their hair black, and it looks FAKE. You are a natural, LOVE IT!

If you use any type of bleach on your hair, it will cause damage. It will be dry and brittle. I have seen hilights of darker colors, like an auburn, that was very attractive. I have also seen a young lady that streaks her hair with vibrant reds, or blues, depending on the week....maybe you would like that? I personally don't, but then again, I am an old fogey.

Get rid of ants is easy!!!
Thursday, August 07, 2008 | By Apopka

It's very simple, you can use corn meal !
They love this! It's great in case you have other pets you won't poison them!
You see the corn meal is sweet so ants love it BUT once they eat it it swells up in their bodies and they EXPLODE- die.... What a way to go! and it's safe for the enviroment!
Use it in your yard with red ants too!

secret savings

My business teacher in college did this with her check book and it used to absolutly drive her husband crazy! He's an accountant and accustomed to having things to the very penny and she said he would literally pull his hair out trying to balance her check book. This might be a
better idea to use if only one person is using the account. :-)
