i love finding items i can reuse or sell.. good for you for finding all that stuff its better than paying top dollar for it brand new..i will be glad when warmer weather comes our way cant wait to go to yard sales new to puppy Saturday, December 27, 2008 | By Wendopolis Hi! It sounds as if you have a puppy that has been abused and/or not socialized. I suggest asking your vet for tips and finding someone with experience with dogs to help you out. A properly socialized dog likes people, so your first step will be to establish trust with your puppy. That, more than the potty training, is the most important, in my opinion. Not too long ago I fished out a framed floral oil painting out of the trash which I have hung up in my bathroom. The apt. complex where we used to live has/had LOTS of great stuff just before trash day! But wash everything! Maybe you could also quietly let people know that they can bring you their stuff before the trash & you will deal with it. I made a "Honeymoon kit" once with towels, bath gel, two champagne glasses and a bottle of inexpensive champagne all in a basket.
