Hang in there!!
Saturday, February 14, 2009 | By jwmn

I am a christian and have been for years. I am divorced for many years and don't relate that way but work in public where most people I come in contact with are not. Just hang in there and keep praying for your husband and let God have control over him!!(He is in control whether we acknowledge it or not). You are leading your daughter in the right direction!!! I will pray for you and your family.

THINKING OF A BRIGHT FUTURE
Saturday, February 14, 2009 | By leftthesanebehind

MANY OF US THINK OF A BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD, BUT HAVE A HARD TIME SAVING FOR IT. I HAVE CUT BACK, BUT AM NOT A HOMEOWNER. WE LIVE WELL WITHIN OUR MEANS AND HAVE NEVER LIVED PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK, YET.! BUT OUR BRIGHT FUTURE LOOKS A LITTLE GRIM..MY HUSBAND IS AWAITING SURGERY, AND IT MIGHT MEAN HE WON'T EVER MAKE GOOD MONEY AGAIN...SO WE SAVE, ON GROCERIES, ENTERTAIMENT AND OTHER THINGS. HOPING IT HELPS, PRAYER TO ALL

Sure way to tell if your dog is a Full Blooded Huskeyy

Look at the roof of your dog's mouth and see if it's one solid color, if it is, he is a Pure Breed if not he's mixed with something. You probably have friends with dogs, have one that has a Pure Breed dog look at the roof of it's mouth and then have a friend who has a mixed breed look at the roof of it's mouth. I learned this many years ago at an AKC Dog Show from a dog breeder. I suspect though your dog may have a little Akita in him by the shape of his head and his tail. Anyway, he's a cutie best of luck to you and your baby.

cat wee
Tuesday, February 10, 2009 | By bzladi

Have you by any chance, changed kitty litter? I understand sometimes that will cause a problem like this. My daughter had a cat that started having all kinds of accidents, she took him to the vet. She called me weeping, he had feline leukemia (not like the human kind) which can affect all different kinds of body parts with each separate animal. Anyway, that was what the problem was with hers. Hopefully yours is just upset about something!! Good luck!

Sewing

If you make soap - you can SEW! Check out www.threadbangers.com - it's a DYI fashion site - think you would like it - & it even has basic sewing instructions. As my mother used to say - that skirt looks easy to MAKE. (Threadbangers even has screening info!)

Thanks for the post! I've never dated typical "men" macho types (like guys who are into sports and cars for example) so thankfully I haven't had any bad luck. Actually, I did set the bar really high and got the perfect person for me! :D Luckily all guys I know are far from being typical men, which is a GOOD THing!

Wedding on the Cheap
Sunday, February 08, 2009 | By pamphyila

We wed in NJ in the backyard of my parents' house, which had a patio attached - and had cake, iced tea and champagne. Have hors d'ourvres - & skip the whole meal, which is too pricey. Get a dress which you can wear after the wedding - in ivory perhaps. Do your own flowers! We picked wild Queen Anne's lace to fill up our flower arrangements in a collection of family glass vases, etc. The napkins and plates were a faux china pattern from TARGET - the tablecloths from the grocery store in a matching sage green - We did our own music from CD's and had big bottles of Fr. sparkling wine (just like champagne) from a discount wine store. I also put angel figurines all around - some of which I had bought after Xmas - and whte paper festoons....There are so many beautiful old mansion-type houses in the Oranges - maybe if you insist on being inside you could find one of those to use....But there are also lovely old churches there, too. Look around. But engage your friends & family to HELP if it's DYI.
