Keep the Dog!
Saturday, April 28, 2007 | By emma_barbie

If the dog is good around other people and especially YOUR kids, why get rid of him? Obviously that "Brat" who doesn't have respect for authority (like most kids today) and needs to learn to "Stop Harassing The DOG"! It may get worse if the kid doesn't learn to obey & respect your wishes and then God forbid someone will consider your dog a Menace and will want it "Put Down"!
Also work with the dog a little more, perhaps teach the dog to "Relax" or "Easy" when that kid comes around again.
I have always been a "Dog Lover" with two of my own when I was younger, I hope I have helped in some way

Can you two be anymore environmentally sound? Way to be an example of good values to me and everyone on this site. Congrats on getting married too. I hope you have a long happy marriage and don't make my mistakes involving marriage. Well you can read my blogs under Frugal and Tightwad Tanya. Hope you like what you read.

I say way to go on your found fortune for winter next year. You are a true pioneer like me when it comes to shopping. I sincerely doubt that hole though in the longjohns is going to stop your chapstick from falling out since it was made for men to wear if you know what I mean. You should sew them shut if you intend to use it as a pocket on the inside and not the whole hole just part that connects the inside out area on them. Your friend is truly lucky to have you as a friend. My friends wouldn't buy me clothing I liked to wear good for you. Well keep up the good frugal liifestyle. I like your blogs a lot.

Well I have to say you are right about being frugal and collecting stuff while raising children. Know how I avoided being a packrat with my children. I kept our living quarters small meaning I purposely down sized from a four bedroom home to a two bedroom home with the small bedroom for us. One bedroom shared, the biggest one every body assuming to be the master bedroom, by all my children which meant one closet full of 7 days of clothing for each child period. Toys were a precious extravegant. Each child has a shelf on their headboard. All they can fit into that headboard is what their toys are for their prospective ages. I didnt allow them to stuff them full either. All toys outgrown got given away to friends younger siblings at church or school according to ages. My children enjoy the great outdoors too, so they didn't accumulate a lot of toys to begin with to get rid of in Spring cleaning. Try this approach and you will soon be clutter free. Your family may grip, but in the end they will love you for it.

heh, i had to wiki "Sto-Lat!"
Thanks for the Birthday wish!
i just turned 35...which gives an uneasy feeling to officially be closer to 40's than 20's. i noticed right away when filling out a free sample request form, i'm now in the 35-44 age category. yikes!

Happy Birthday

How old are you? Getting rid of clutter is a very good thing! Less things to take care of and to clean up after

puke on a white blanket
Friday, April 20, 2007 | By Mr. Thrifty

The smell is probably in the down feathers themselves.Perhaps you can put it into a cedar chest until next winter..If you do not hae a cedar chest find some cedar chips put the blanket and them into a plastic bag till next winter. That is if you like the smell of cedar? If not maybe you can hang the blanket out a few days after it comes out of the bag.
A good blanket is worth the stain
I wish you luck
