I moved in to this house 4 years ago.My boyfriend(who owns this house)is a mechanic and had "work" everywhere! I mentioned that I would like to have a little spot, just to see if I could get some flowers to grow. But I did tell him, I know nothing about gardening,so don't expect too much! Well, since then, so much has changed in the back! This blog will include the "before" photo's and the "after." The "after" pictures are always an ongoing thing. By the way,most everything I planted has been by way of cuttings,seeds from deadheads I've picked and lots of trial and error! So come on in to my yard!

I was born in Boston, and lived in the surrounding areas, always a short walk to the beach. We also lived in Texas and at 14, California. Then about 7 years ago, I visited my son who was stationed w/family in Junction City, Kansas. He had decided to attend Washburn Univ. so and I decided to stay in Kansas, too! I have 3 sons, all are married, and between them, they have eight children! (with another on the way). So of course this qualifies me as "Grandma".
