I really wish to change my bedroom by adding new paint colors on the wall, more style and accesories and glam it up.  HELP ME! Check out my pictures and comment in your ideas, I'd really appreciate it! THANKS!

My bedroom is a long and narrow room with two windows on the same side of one of the long walls, it has a big dark wooden bed with a separate wooden back that has two nightstands attached to it on either side, and because of the narrow, long shape if my room, the bed only fits in two spots: where it is now and where my closet is built in now, so I can't really move the bed unless I take away the closet. The closet has no doors, which I don't like and I want to find a way to hide everything (not that it's a clutter, not always) but just for it to look better, like a curtain perhaps. Then I have a vanity set off to the opposite side of the long wall with the windows, which is made of wood too, but in a lighter shade than the bed. I have a desk, wood too, (next to the closet) but it's an in between shade from the other two pieces of furniture.

MY PROBLEM: the theme colors now are maroon and beige/tan, which I am incredibly bored of! I want to incorporate a purple, get new bed sheets (what color??) and paint the walls purple but in a way that the room doesn't appear so long and narrow and I want an accent wall with stripes of two shades of the paint or a floral design painted on it. HELP ME WITH THE COLORS!!

Any suggestions, there's so many ideas I have that I don't know where to begin! I am really excited about a lot, like maybe painting the closet or desk white, but I don't know how that would look with the dark wooden cherry-like color of the bed!! Also, I really like the idea of a Hollywood glamour style, but I can't change my bed and I don't know how to incorporate that theme or if any one has better ideas… PLEASE COMMENT!
