I love reading your blogs, really I do! I just don't always have the time to comment about things, I work three jobs just trying to make a living and free time is....well, NEVER!

You keep up the good work and keep writing your blogs for me to read, okay?

I do have a question though.
Do you use the CD or the CD case?

S Tree

I remember it from N.J., as I said. & it's interesting because the merchandise is just that much different from our local 99 Cent Store chain that it's worth a visit to both.
What your blog called?

$ Tree Find

It has been in Minneapolis and Fargo for over two years now, and it is not new to me or Minneapolis people or the FM-Fargo/Moorhead. It reached the West Coast last because it started on the East Coast. Everyone out here knows of it. Glad to know you found it. Maybe you can read about it in my blogs since I have been writing on that store for months now. Have fun shopping like I do there, since it opened.

Lost Objects

It's amazing what goes sneaking off in the middle of the day/night. If you need to replace your charger try freecycle.org (if theres one for your area). I lost my cell phone charger when I moved a few years ago and was able to get one from freecycle. It's amazing the items you can get or offer there.

Cups of tea or coffee can cool off much too quickly. This would be great for the office!

Picture with scarf is actually ME in my actress mode! (But I feel Judi Dench here & she is one of my current idols & source of inspiration!) You can actually google my actress-self at "Pamela Munro + Hollywood"

For Your Special Friend.

I did this for my parents one New Year's Eve but thought that you could very well do this for anybody.

I bought a heart-shaped box in a thrift shop. It was filled with heart shaped notepaper and some envelopes.
Over the course of a week I got each member of our family to write a short note to our parents. How much we love them and appreciate all they have done for us. The grandchildren old enough to write something did so, the smaller children drew some pictures.

For your friend you could ask anyone you know that is close to her or even those that just know her and think she's lovely, to write a few lines about how wonderful they think she is.
When I gave this to my parents I was told later it moved them both to tears and it's one of their most treaured items.

You could, of course, use any box and decorate it. Simple with plain paper and a bow perhaps or personalise it with pictures, buttons, decoupagé or ribbon etc.

Best of luck,
Monique

Couldn't agree more! I love shopping the 99cents store as well. Their potted plants are healthy ones plus the foods in the cooler and freezer are great.
Isn't it neat that LA Times was looking in the store for news worthy articles!
