Why does Easter always fall on different dates every year. I heard that it has something to do with the moon. Am I near or even on the right track.?

Easter

Easter Day is the first Sunday after the full moon which happens upon, or next after the 21st day of March; and if the full moon happens upon a Sunday, Easter Day is the Sunday after.

I think that it was a pagan holiday that they took over.

It occurs between March 22nd and April 25th depending on the moon stuff.
