Black Friday mess up

I cannot believe what this world is coming too, why cant we all just stop thinking that every year we HAVE to BUY gifts? why cant we just be thankful to God that we are alive and have our family and friends? I know I am, I may not be very healthy but I do know that Christmas is the Happiness that i have with having my Family here. Also, since someone got killed during the so called "black friday" isnt that something to tell you whether or not its over a toy or another thing that killing and guns is NOT i repeat NOT the answer to anything!!! Ok , well im done ranting and raving. Thanks for listening. By the way im making gifts this year out of scraps and such i have around the house and being greatful that my family is around and that is the ONE thing i am truly thankful for!!!

My cleaning advice

This is my advice on how to make a really good baby or infant high chair cleaner. I use one of those spray bottles with a combination of dishsoap and water or even a combination of water, vinegar and a little lemon or orange juice or extract. This has really cleaned my sons high chair and even if he gets his fingers on the vinegar- water combo he wont get sick tasting it. SO i hope this helps and ill be checking back with you all later and see if my advice helps LOL bye for now

Thriftiness at the local thrift shop

My family and I today went to a local salvation army and there we scored a bunch of videos for our kids at .25 cents each , and i scored a numerous amount of paperback and one hard back book for .25 cents hard back and .10cents paperback, i think we had found a good haul, even found some christmas cups and plates the nice ceramic kind with penguins on them 2 cups and a plate for about $3.99 lot cheaper than one cup in stores, Im gonna use those for hot chocolate or my new sample of coffee i got:-) Happy hunting and thrifty shopping. Hows everyone else?

My Hectic life

Well, its raining here , my kids are "supposedly" napping lol. I thought I would just write and let you all know whats happening in my life right now. Well, not much. I am still a stay at home mom of 2 kids , my husband is laid off from his job and he is still looking for work, its not easy. But i love him staying home and yes lol at times i wish he was at work again lol but family stays together is wonderful for me . I love my family so with that said. I am making some hot pads for christmas gifts and also crocheting my kids some scarfs a blue one for my son with a little white in it. FOr my daughter im doing a pink and purple with a little white in it. So as you can see its busy busy since in awhile we will be fixing supper, hmmm not sure what to make but i always find something for the ones i love. Hows your day going? just thought id let you all know whats going on here on my side.

i have in my town a website called freecycle.com its so neat you go there and list what you want or need and what you have to give away . Its all free !!! maybe just takes your vehicle to get there or a little walk, and we all can use a little walk in the wonderful colorful trees with the leaves coming down. So go to freecycle.com today and its worth it. It helps keep lots of items out of the local dump.

Making your own cleaner

I have found with kids you cant just use any cleanser. Lots of them are harmful and with a lot of us going GREEN lol this is a wonderful cleanser for almost anything you want to clean--- I dont really measure so ill just list the ingredients and you be the judge of how much you want to make, I use- Baking soda, table salt, baking powder, cream of tartar. after its all mixed up i put it in one of those old spice containers, the plastic ones that are washed out and dried. Then rub some around with a little damp rag or scrubber and wash as you usually would with other cleaners. Comment if youd like:-) thanks! Hope this helps :-)
