One Unusual Way to Keep Cool!
Wednesday, July 02, 2008
The best way to stay cool is to wet your ear-lobes.
Whether on the beach, in front of an electric or hand-held fan. Wet lobes with water or spittle and then fan yourself cool. You'll be amazed at how quickly you'll cool down.

Spitting on your earlobe -ugh! Maybe after someone peed on me to get rid of a jellyfish stinger - lol.

THANKS! I AM ALWAYS LOOKING FOR REAL COOLING TIPS that I never thought of. Please excuse that crude "non sweet" comment.
Brilliant idea!

Thanx for posting this, so easy and yet, forgotten. I don't know what the big deal is with dabbing spit on your ears when water isn't readily available! I think someone has spit issues! We lick our lips, we lick our fingers to turn pages in a book or magazine, we kiss people on the mouth and gentlemen kiss the hands of ladies, I mean seriously .. spit is universal and quite handy in a pinch for earlobes .. lol!
Worth a try

Neat tip and worth a try. Always looking for new ways to stay cool out here in the khaleej, it gets pretty hot here, but we do get a good constant breeze with it. I will put your tip to the test when I go out. Thanks for sharing.

Firstly Thank you for leaving a comment. I hope you find it useful and the best bit is... it DOES work!
I agree with you manintveld_nl - nothing wrong with a little water from your own mouth - I wish I could erase the first comment, that's a little childish.
Thanks to babbooshka, I get hot flushes sometimes so this little trick helps cool me down alot. And generally sitting in front of an electric fan too!
And sbb1 Thank you for posting also. I am glad you will find this helpful. Even in company this can be done discreetly. I wonder where or what the khaleej is... ? Hmm... I feel a Google search coming on!
Thank you again for posting your messages to me. Best wishes Monique
