My Thrift Store Find!
Monday, November 26, 2007
I finally can say the Salvation Army is the store for me. I got a purse there for 50 cents on a half off and red tag day. It was an Liz Claireborn purse that was brand spanking new with plastic and paper inside it to boot. It is brown leather with multi compartments full size. This is no makeup purse. My daughter is constantly bugging me to borrow it. In the store it would have cost me $35.00 plus tax. It only cost 50 cents plus tax a total of 58 cents more so. I always have a frugal mind set. Now that we live in Georgia it is expensive. I can say the weather has to do with the prices that is for sure. We used coupons for everything before now we use coupons and sales together just to survive here in Georgia. My main man and I plan on moving back to MN so I can be near my family, and the children too. It is cheaper living there by far. It may kill me with my arthritis, but it is better for my mental state right now with the MS. We will go to Arizona at the end of next year if MN doesn't work out, so he can be near his family too. Life is hard enough living frugally without the help of family. Why make it harder yet is what I always say. Well got to go. Holiday business is got me going here too.

I have a question for you and I don't mean to sound judgmental. You state you are a Christian/I am too/but that you are living w/your boyfriend. You have a child at home from what I read in your post. How does you living w/someone work into your faith? I was just wondering and since you put it out there on your profile I figured it was ok to ask about it. TIA! And God bless you. I too sufer w/depression I know it is difficult at best to live with and live thru.
