"Pay It Forward"
Wednesday, March 18, 2009
I was sitting in a restaurant last week with a friend, and when it came time to pay the bill she asked if she could pay a little more than 15 percent. I said "sure write a note with it that says pay it forward". Only she didnt understand anominity. I said dont ask the waitress it is suppose to be anonymous. She made a point of being too loud so the waitress over heard and got excited. I told my friend she missed the point and we spent the next 10 mins arguing over pay it forward. She eventually left a 5 dollar tip for 9$ and .65. It was hilarious she made such a big deal and only left 5% over the final bill. She had 20's. The waitress doesn't make much in life. I think she should have left the 20 dollar bill.

they make good tips that they don't have to claim on income tax..the average waitress at a good resteraunt on a busy night can hall in over a hundred dollars in tips before you add in the salary..my niece is a waitress and have heard this from her
