Why am I so cold?

Thursday, January 29, 2009

I am 21 years old and I am always cold even in the summer! I'm a size 3-5 (not too skinny) and as far as I know in good health condition. I hate being at work because I freeze in there I can hardly work because I'm so cold!  I speacially get cold after I eat. (I wear warm clothes and have a sweater on all the time) I Live in Southern California where is not that cold!!! I'm currently taking Cacium, Biotin and a Multi Vitamin but that doesn't seem to work. Is there a vitamin I can take so I can stay warm? Thanks in advance for your help!

Cayenne Pepper?

Could be bad circulation. I would visit a naturalpathic doctor. It might be as easy as just taking some cayenne pepper capsules! :) My naturalpath used to tell me that when I took a shower, alternate from hot to cold to shock the body and get its blood pumping as I struggle with circulation too (I am a size 5). Good luck!

I do have sympathy for you because I'm in the same boat! My husband says I'm always cold...except when I'm hot! I'm not a tiny person like you (oh yes, you are!) and have ample "meat on my bones" and wrap up so much I can hardly move but I'm still cold. Then I can get so hot I can hardly breath in the summer. I had bilateral mastectomies almost 8 years ago and my husband said now he knows where my thermostat was becasue I wasn't like this before. =(^.^)=
Anyway, you're not alone. There are many of us out there freezing along with you!

feeling cold

Hi! Just a suggestion, but why don't you have your thyroid checked? Sometimes
people with hypothyroidism have an increased sensitivity to cold. I often used to feel the cold inside of my bones. Good luck.

Another suggestion

There was a time when my mom was always cold, ( weather had nothing to do with it) , but after she started taking B vitamins, B 12 especially, she warmed up.

I have one more thought, perhaps you are iron defiecient. When the body doesnt have enough iron,,,,, Try either iron pills or vitamin B's
