I am really into vintage - and most of my art is THAT one way or the other - from a reproduction of an old sailing print - to a 19thC. sailing colored lithograph to a Monet reproduction to an early 20thC Fr. Perrier Poster ( and more)

herbs in the window sill?

I am a very visual person , all of my life i've seen how to put togther and plan rooms with colour and so-on. So i thought to add to my creativity i would grow things in my window sill. I've always had a dream of living with huge plants all around me, kinda like a rainforest theme. but don't seem to be able to get a house with enough lighting yet. I have question has any one ever grew a tomato plant indoors before and had any luck?
