My Dogs

I have got to be crazy. I have 7 dogs that live inside the house. One of which has 2 puppies which will be gone soon. Oh that is not to count cats. No not a breader. I do love my animals though. Not sure what I would do without them. The wife and I live by them. Feel free to comment.

Living with dogs
Sunday, March 22, 2009 | By cybergal24
Well I know what you mean, I have 9 dogs. They were 10 but one passed in Sept. I am so happy to hear someone else feel the same way about their pets like I do. My dogs are my kids. I dont have kids so they are it. My BF doesn't understand and we get in big fights over this. I had the dogs when he met me. I put the dogs above him cause, they are first. He doesnt understand. I had the dogs with my ex-husband and when we divorced I kept all of them. I was single for over a year and I have had this bf for about a year but he doesn't get it with the dogs. He says he's embarrased to invite anyone home cause of the smell. I spend alot of my time cleaning after them. Its a chore but I love them, they can't help it. I don't know if this relationship will last, but the dogs are here to stay no matter what. I am just glad to see someone else out there with dogs.

Dog Rescue

I work in rescue and currently have 10 dogs living at my home. I love mine too. The trouble I find is to give them enough individual training. I buy good quality food at the feed store and have found an inexpensive vet. My rescue does pay for a few things though. I buy most of my heartworm meds from a distributor in Australia. I have to work hard to keep everything from smelling doggy. I open windows every morning and spend a fortune on carpet shampoo, air fresheners etc. Having this many dogs is definitely a challenge.
