so, here i am. i made a promise to myself that i will save money and try to make a more oranized, productive life for me and my son. i tend to live from paycheck to paycheck because i waste all my money, usually on clothes that don't get worn and toys that only get played with once or twice before they get taken apart and tossed aside. i cringe when i think of all the money that has been wasted. i have a serious addiction to hats, scarves, and purses and bags. i got past shoes, thank goodness. now my main money wasters are lattes and gas for my vehicle. my gas was never bad until i bought the minivan in september. it uses twice as much gas. i am a merchandiser so i drive all over town so i use a lot of gas. it has doubled since i got the van. i kept telling myself i needed a bigger vehicle for all the stuff that ends up in the vehicle because of me and my son. there is barely any space now because of the four tires and all the boxes in the back. all that space i could be using for other stuff, like hauling all the unused stuff to the thrift store. i need space in my house so i plan to get rid of most of it soon. i hate to waste money on a storage but i may need to for a couple of months just so i can get rid of everything else. i plan on leaving this state next year so i want to save as much money as possible and take as little as possible. my first step is to drive as less as possible and cut back on coffee. i already stopped buying toys and clothes.

organization

That's what it's all about. I know-- have been dis-organized for the first 30 years of my life. Now the last 37 of them has been so much easier! I too was single mother for years-- of four kids two boys and two girls. Organizing everything, house, clothing, kids stuff everything we owned saved my life-- or at least my sanity! Start small- organize one drawer--then the next. pick a part of the house-- maybe kitchen-- and throw away or sell everything--no you won't need it! In the car, or back porch-or where ever-- toss everything out-- then put back each item that you truly need. Corral everything-- boxes-crates- baskets ,put like things or or things used together in something. And be merciless about tossing things. Please believe me-- it works!!! When your stuff and your life are in order-- so is your mind. When your mind is in order, life is soooo much easier! Good luck in your move and your life-- best wishes -- Char
