Help! High School Superhero Dance (Need IDEAS)

Thursday, January 17, 2008

Hey, I'm student council president and I'm putting on a superhero dance in march. I really want this dance to be amazing so we're decorating AS MUCH as possible. We have lots of money, so that's not a problem, but we need ideas! I've already thought of making a cut out of a city outline on huge black paper for all the way around the gym, and using the glow in the dark stars everywhere. I need more ideas though....Any ideas are welcome!

Superheros & Supervillains theme
Sunday, January 20, 2008 | By moncarroll

I had a supervillains party because its a lot more fun to be bad so opening up the theme might help avoid having 5 spidermans and 25 wonder-women show up. Villains can be more fun and creative too and maybe easier for the girls because there are more girl baddies than goodies, poison ivy, cat woman, bond girls, white witch, all the other witches, etc. I went to my party as carmen sandiego.

Decoration wise, you could have a corner with a different theme, evil lair, police lock-up, newspaper HQ with headlines about different villains/heros- eg. Penguin foiled again, Superman saves 12 from collapsed bridge, etc etc (this could probably do the whole gym even)

Paper starburst with comic !!BAM!! KAPOW etc

Hope you like =)
