kitchen w/ slight view of the laundry room
Thursday, October 02, 2008

they are leaving that little fridg & I have 2 & 1/2 more - one for the basement & my newest 1 goes in that corner you see on the left so i can hook up my water tap & icemaker. The dorm size one will go in the craft shop (also unpictured for now) How did we live without all this gadgetry ? omg (remember filling all the ice cube trays all the time - whew! It is a rather small kitchen but i love it - i will get more pics asap - these were sent by the relator- so you don't see the kitchen sink in the corner with the window or the vintage style wallpaper under the cabinets & over the counter. Maybe I am barking up the wrong tree but I ordered tile for the bathrooms: 1" greens for the master bath & reds for Brads (his favorite color) & Big Lots sold some red/gold very nice prepasted wallpaper I will use (only $2 a roll) & i have rugs & accents & toowels & even have a shelf I painted reds & gold when I did my tv room here that will be perfect for towels & things... funny the bathrooms & bedrooms also are not pictured but as I said I will get to that asap ! I also ordered mirrored tiles - as you can see the East end of the house has only one small window which is in the master bathroom.I have a big walk in closet too which I plan on using a chest of drawers here in Brads room -- I am waiting to get my "designer wall vinals" soon to thru amazon to take the "plain jane" style out & in with a little perking up!! Most of the wall vinals are removeable/reusable & I am waiting for a cple cherry blossom trees & other leafy/branchy vinals I also bought a bigger steamer/cleaner that is said to hold enough for about an hours worth of cleaning time instead of the kind I now have which cleans about 5 minutes - then has to cool off & be refilled & reheated! A LOT of trouble for a little clean lol
