Here I hope to share the "Shortcuts" to making life just a little easier. I look forward to learning all I can from others with the same goal. What a useful idea! My hat is off to whoever thought this site up. Such a needed tool! THANKS, Annie

Pretzel Logs as gifts
Friday, December 08, 2006

I was watching a shopping show and a Co. was selling Pretzel logs for a fortune. So, I decided to make them as gifts since their value is that of gold.

HERE'S HOW: Roll Pizza dough into logs about 8" long and about the size of a finger.  Place on greased cookie sheet and and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes or until firm to the touch.

After cooling dip in chocolate, cheese or any coating you can think of then roll in sprinkles for color. Make some plain, brushed in egg white and rolled in small rock salt and returned to the oven for three minutes.

Box them up pretty and give as gifts.

About Me:

I moved from a large metropolis to this beautiful tiny little town 7 yrs ago. I enjoy making anything with my hands from clay magnolias to fresh bread. I especially enjoy making kaleidoscopes and painting. I also cap my own herbal remedies with fresh herbs for whatever ailes me.I like bragging I have not seen a doctor in 39 years and feel great. Living alone I always need advice with upkeep on a house. Shortcuts are always needed in all areas.
