"I love to play with fabric!" That's what I tell anyone who asks. There are always multiple projects waiting and many of them start with or have fabric in them from other people's stashes that they got rid of, did not want any more and could not wait to get out of their homes. I love seeing what I can make. I started this blog so I could track the projects I work on since many of them are sold on consignment or are gifts. I hope others will read and share their projects because some of the best ideas come from fellow crafts, seamstresses and quilters!

My name is Phyllis Smith and I have been sewing for many, many years. I began with making clothes to simple curtains for our homes that we have lived in and then to quilting in more recent years because I was introduced to quilting when we lived in Arizona. I have been hooked ever since!! I teach sewing lessons, piano lessons and work full time in an admissions office. I am happily married to my husband for 26 years and we have one daughter who is heading to college very soon!
