Travel and Make Money Living The Good Life
Wednesday, June 25, 2008

If I ask 100 people the question, "If money nor time were an object, what would you want to do more of when you retire?" the answer that I would get 95 percent of the time is:  TRAVEL.  It's no secret that a love for travel and the desire to do more of it is the one thing that most people in the world have in common.

Who can blame us?  We live in a world that is filled with mystery, beauty and intrigue.  The customs and cultures of people that span the globe are boundless, and most of us want to experience at least a glimpse before we depart this earth.  I have been blessed to travel a great portion of the world and even to live in a foreign country.  Some of my happiest moments have been while on vacation.  Vacations abroad or to an island or a beautiful beach... now THAT's what I call living the good life!

But what if you could travel, have a ball doing so, pay wholesale prices on those trips AND get paid a commission when you return?  When I first heard about this, I thought I must be hearing wrong.  As in everything, with this, I considered the source.  Well, the source was credible, so I checked it out.  To my joyful surprise, everything I had been told was TRUE!  So two years ago, I embarked on a journey with a wonderful company that allows me to  not only travel at my leisure, see the world, stay in the best hotels and resorts, save a ton of money on them AND get paid while doing it, but also... because it's a business and not a JOB, all my vacations are also tax writeoffs.

And the best part?  I get to stay at home with my beautiful toddler so I, and no one else, can prepare her food, play games with her and teach her to use the potty!  I tell you... this is living the good life.

About Me:

I am a stay-at-home mom who is married to a wonderful man who's name is really, Prince. I met him when I lived in Ghana, and the irony is that before I moved there to serve as a missionary, I told my friends that I would meet "my prince" there. Well, not only did I meet my prince there, but I married him there and brought him back home with me. We have one child, a 20 month old daughter named Cion.
