Clothes Pin Bag
Thursday, September 13, 2007
My old clothes pin bag had seen its better day, and I had to finally throw it out. I've been frugal most of my life and enjoy finding ways of saving money. I googled "free pattern for a clothes pin bag" and found this one on the internet. I bought a tea towel at an old estate sale for $1.00 and already had an old wooden hanger in my closet to complete the project.

I sent my friend the pattern and a picture of my completed project. She told me that she made a clothes pin bag out of a small size girl's dress. To make the bag, sew the bottom hem closed on a sewing machine, then hang the dress on a hanger and put it out on your wash line. Then reach inside the dress for your clothes pins.
