Hi.. When I was younger, I wouldn't even dream of shopping in a thrift store..YUCK!! Today, I LOVE shopping there. I have found some of the neatest things. With a little imagination..you can totally make your home cute with very little money. I found this island thing for my kitchen. It has 3 drawers, and 3 cabinets underneath. I cleaned it up, painted it, put new hardware, and it is BEAUTIFUL!! Got it for 35$..the ones in the stores were over 200$. I also got an antique cabinet to set my microwave on for 50$ It is also beautiful after removing all the old paint and sanding it, new hardware..etc. I wish I was open to thrift store shopping when I actually had NO money when I was younger. Kids today need to know that it doesn't take tons of money to have neat stuff. Try it...you'll get hooked too!! BG
